The Story Behind 101 Wedding Planning Tips
Every wedding starts with a story… and so did these books.
While spending over 15 years in the wedding and events industry, I saw the same challenges come up for couples again and again. From overwhelmed brides unsure where to start, to grooms feeling left out of the process, to planners trying to manage a million moving parts. I knew that clear, trustworthy advice could make a huge difference.
So I decided to put that knowledge into words. But I didn’t do it alone.
When we started writing the first book, my daughter was 9 years old. I told her I wanted to create something that could truly help couples plan their weddings without the stress — and she immediately wanted to be a part of it.
Over the next three months, we worked side by side. I wrote the tips, and she brought them to life with her hand-drawn illustrations. It was fun, challenging, and one of the most rewarding things we’ve ever done together.
Two years later, when she was 11, we wrote the second book. This one focused on joy, creativity, and celebration — and again, she added her magic to every page.

Our goal was never to create just another wedding planning book. We wanted to build something that felt real, relatable, and encouraging. A guide you could lean on, laugh with, and trust.
Every tip in these books comes from actual experience, not theory. They’re built on years of coordinating events, talking to brides and grooms, solving problems, and creating joyful moments.
But what makes them truly special is the heart behind them. The collaboration between a parent and child who simply wanted to help others feel confident and excited during one of life’s biggest adventures.
